MemberPress supports SCA in the newly launched MemberPress 1.6.0, so if you\u2019re one of our EU customers then all you need to do is upgrade and you\u2019ll be compliant \u2026 automatically!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In diesem Beitrag werden wir die wichtigsten Punkte dieser neuen Verordnung aufschl\u00fcsseln und erl\u00e4utern, wie sich diese auf Ihr Mitgliedsgesch\u00e4ft auswirken wird und wie Sie sicherstellen k\u00f6nnen, dass Ihre Transaktionen sicher und zuverl\u00e4ssig sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Erstens: Was genau ist SCA?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SCA or Strong Customer Authentication is a new European regulation that has been put into place to make online payments safer and less prone to fraud. On September 14, 2019, when the regulation goes into effect, if you are a European merchant and are selling to a European customer then they\u2019ll have an additional layer of authentication on your membership site\u2019s checkout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Wird sich dies auf alle Mitgliedschaftsseiten auswirken?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Diese neue Regelung betrifft nicht alle Mitgliedschaftsseiten.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><br>SCA wird sich NUR dann auf Ihr Mitgliedsgesch\u00e4ft auswirken, wenn:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Sie haben \"kundeninduzierte\" Online-Zahlungen innerhalb Europas.<\/li><li>Wenn die Bank Ihres Unternehmens ihren Sitz im Europ\u00e4ischen Wirtschaftsraum (EWR) hat.<\/li><li>Wenn die Bank\/Karte des Kunden im EWR ans\u00e4ssig ist.<\/li><li>Wenn die Kartenzahlung \u00fcber das Internet erfolgt.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>SCA-Befreiungen<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hier sind einige F\u00e4lle, in denen SCA nicht notwendig ist:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Vom H\u00e4ndler initiierte Transaktionen<\/strong> \u2013 Payments made with saved cards.<\/li><li><strong>Feste wiederkehrende Transaktionen und Abonnements<\/strong> \u2013 As long as the payment amount remains the same (as is typical in a membership site), future transactions will not need SCA. If the payment amount changes, then the extra SCA authentication will be necessary.<\/li><li><strong>Transaktionen unter 30 \u20ac<\/strong> \u2013 Stay under \u20ac30 and you will be exempt, unless five or more payments under \u20ac30 are made, or if a number of lower payments total more than \u20ac100.<\/li><li><strong>Telefonische Zahlungen<\/strong> \u2013 If you collect a customer\u2019s card information over the phone, it could be an exemption to SCA and will not require authentication.<\/li><li><strong>Zahlungen an Unternehmen<\/strong> \u2013 Payments between two corporate companies directly are exempt from SCA ONLY IF the method is a dedicated B2B method, such as a corporate purchasing system.<\/li><li><strong>Kredit\u00fcberweisungen<\/strong> \u2013  Transfers made between a current account to a savings account at the same bank that is controlled by the same person.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Der Prozess<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wenn Sie ein EU-zu-EU-Abonnement erstellen, muss der Kunde eine 3D-Secure-2-Anmeldung durchf\u00fchren, die noch in diesem Jahr eingef\u00fchrt werden soll. First of all, if you\u2019re using MemberPress then you don\u2019t need to do anything \u2014 you\u2019ll be SCA compliant just by upgrading to MemberPress 1.6.0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also, if you\u2019re concerned about conversion rates slipping, the good news is those shouldn\u2019t be impacted too much either. First of all, any subscriptions created before September 14, 2019 won\u2019t be impacted at all. And, on EU to EU checkouts, your customers will just have to jump through an additional hoop but once they get through that, they shouldn\u2019t have to do it again for rebills, and that\u2019s the biggest source of revenue for most membership sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Haben Sie weitere Fragen zu SCA?
