Not about their bodies this time. It\u2019s the same sort of processes going on in the mind.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>It wasn\u2019t two problems<\/strong> needing two different approaches. It was one problem, showing up in two different rooms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So Beer just kept doing what she\u2019d always done: \u201cThe work is very similar, in the sense of developing a compassionate relationship, working with these different parts of you,\u201d she says. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBut where people come in is just whatever resonates and whatever is most pressing for them.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, she describes herself simply as \u201ca compassion-focused coach who helps people with their relationship with themselves in the areas of life that are important to them.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s a world away from the hustle culture and shame-based marketing that dominates the industry, for <a href=\"https:\/\/memberpress.com\/de\/blog\/nutrition-advice-membership-site\/\">nutrition coaches<\/a> und <a href=\"https:\/\/memberpress.com\/de\/blog\/sell-business-coaching-subscriptions\/\" title=\"\">Business-Coaches<\/a> alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When we sat down with her for our <strong>Business Founder series<\/strong>, one thing was obvious: she practices what she preaches, and it\u2019s working. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What\u2019s striking is how visible these principles are in how Beer actually runs the business day to day. She bucks the conventional hustle-hard approach almost everywhere you look. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Here\u2019s what we learned.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1_She_Protects_the_Work_by_Structuring_Her_Week\"><\/span>1. She Protects the Work by Structuring Her Week<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beer splits her time deliberately: \u201cI like to do Monday to Wednesday of having client work, then I have one day of more project-based stuff\u2026 and then one day to do marketing, admin, all of that.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The payoff isn\u2019t just personal balance. It\u2019s consistency for clients. \u201cEveryone gets the same version of me; I\u2019m not feeling depleted by the end of the week and then people not getting my attention. It protects the client work, and it also means I can <a href=\"https:\/\/memberpress.com\/de\/blog\/how-to-sell-digital-products-on-wordpress\/\" title=\"\">create other offers<\/a> as well.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_She_Gives_Away_the_Real_Thing_Not_a_Taste_of_It\"><\/span>2. She Gives Away the Real Thing, Not a Taste of It<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beer\u2019s free resources aren\u2019t thin clickbait designed to nudge people toward a sale. <strong>Her <a href=\"https:\/\/memberpress.com\/de\/blog\/free-trials-course-access-duration\/\">free mini-course<\/a><\/strong> actually walks people through \u201cthe science behind your emotion systems,\u201d so they can map out their own patterns before paying her anything. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As she puts it: \u201cI like people to have as much access to the things that they can do by themselves before deciding to invest in that support.\u201d If someone can solve it themselves from what she\u2019s given away, she considers that a win, not a missed sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s also why it works. By the time someone does <a href=\"https:\/\/memberpress.com\/de\/blog\/secret-to-pricing-coaching-services\/\" title=\"\">decide to invest<\/a>, they\u2019ve already experienced her help firsthand. There\u2019s no guesswork about whether she\u2019s genuine; they already know she is, because she proved it before asking for anything in return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_She_Treats_Content_as_a_Filter_Not_a_Faucet\"><\/span>3. She Treats Content as a Filter, Not a Faucet<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beer isn\u2019t chasing views for the sake of it. \u201cI\u2019m not just going to pump out content for the sake of it. It depends what phase I\u2019m in of business, whether I\u2019m looking to grow my audience or to <a href=\"https:\/\/memberpress.com\/de\/blog\/build-email-list\/\" title=\"\">convert people to my email list.<\/a>\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She\u2019s noticed the posts that convert best often get the least reach, so she\u2019s stopped optimizing for the wrong number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Her move to<\/strong> <strong>Substack<\/strong> wasn\u2019t about posting less for its own sake; it was about being intentional enough that the right people actually find it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSubstack feels much more thoughtful, and I prefer to do it if I\u2019ve got an idea,\u201d she says. \u201cI want it to be thoughtful, useful, interesting.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s the same instinct running through everything else she does: <a href=\"https:\/\/memberpress.com\/de\/blog\/how-to-create-a-successful-content-marketing-strategy\/\" title=\"\">no grinding out content<\/a> from guilt or <a href=\"https:\/\/memberpress.com\/de\/blog\/preventing-burnout-in-your-membership-site\/\" title=\"\">fear of falling behind<\/a>, just writing when she genuinely has something worth saying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>If there\u2019s one invitation buried in Beer\u2019s story, it\u2019s this:<\/strong> stop comparing yourself to whoever seems further ahead, and stop grinding for the sake of grinding when it isn\u2019t moving the needle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Beer\u2019s own words, whether you\u2019re looking at someone else\u2019s body or someone else\u2019s business, \u201cit\u2019s the same sort of processes going on in the mind.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Put the comparison down, and you might find you already have more room to work with than you thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Find
