Before understanding how to expire a user\u2019s access to your site\u2019s protected content, you need to understand how MemberPress grants access to your users.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MemberPress accorde \u00e0 vos utilisateurs l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 votre contenu prot\u00e9g\u00e9 sur la base d'une transaction active (c'est-\u00e0-dire non expir\u00e9e) pour l'adh\u00e9sion correcte.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, with that basic understanding, below you will find instructions on how to expire or revoke access to MemberPress\u2019 two types of subscriptions.
Remarque : ces instructions s'appliquent \u00e0\u00a0en permanence\u00a0<\/strong>r\u00e9voquer l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l'abonnement souhait\u00e9, mais l'utilisateur pourra toujours s'inscrire \u00e0 nouveau au m\u00eame abonnement ou \u00e0 un autre.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\tRemarque importante : <\/strong>The instructions below will NOT work if the user\u2019s subscription is still within it\u2019s first 24 hours. If that is the case and you want to revoke access, you need to simply delete the user\u2019s subscription and associated transactions as applicable.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abonnements r\u00e9currents automatiques<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pour expirer ou r\u00e9voquer l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 un abonnement r\u00e9current automatique, veuillez suivre les \u00e9tapes suivantes\u00a0

\u00c9tape 1 : Annulation de l'abonnement<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

To cancel the user\u2019s subscription, simply follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Naviguez jusqu'\u00e0 la page WordPress Dashboard > MemberPress > Subscriptions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Make sure that you are in the \u2018Recurring\u2019 tab (Non-Recurring subscriptions cannot be cancelled).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Recherchez l'abonnement \u00e0 l'aide de l'outil de recherche sur la page, ou en naviguant.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Hover over the unique Subscription ID for the Subscription in the \u2018Subscription\u2019 column.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. V\u00e9rifiez que vous annulez bien la\u00a0correctes\u00a0<\/em>Abonnement (ce processus est irr\u00e9versible).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Click the \u2018Cancel\u2019 Link.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Click \u2018OK\u2019 on the Pop-up after verifying you are cancelling the correct subscription.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Helpful hint: if you would like to refund the user\u2019s latest transaction AND cancel their subscription at the same time, please checkout the steps outlined\u00a0ici<\/a> in the \u2018Through the Subscriptions Page\u2019 subsection (click the\u00a0\u2018Refund & Cancel\u2019 link in step 5 instead of clicking the \u2018Refund\u2019 link \u2013 doing this will mean not needing to follow the refund process explained below on this page).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 2: Refunding or Editing the User\u2019s Latest Transaction<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    8. Click the \u2018Refund\u2019\u00a0Link.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    9. Click \u2018OK\u2019 on the Pop-up after verifying you are refunding the correct subscription.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      If you don\u2019t want to offer a refund, then please simply follow these steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      9. On the Edit page, scroll down until you find the \u2018Expiration Date (UTC\/GMT)\u2019 option, and here, make the expiration date any date in the past.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      10. Finally, click the \u2018Update\u2019 button to save these changes.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          To verify that you have correctly expired or revoked access for a user\u2019s subscription, simply go to your WordPress Dashboard > MemberPress > Subscriptions > search for the user\u2019s subscription > then make sure that you see a red \u2018No\u2019 under the \u2018Active\u2019 column like shown here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
