Next, you need to deck it out with some plugins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Install MemberPress<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To monetize content on WordPress, you\u2019ll need a plugin. And, in my totally unbiased opinion, <strong>MemberPress<\/strong> is by far the best option. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Head over to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/memberpress.com\/pricing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"MemberPress.com\">MemberPress.com<\/a><\/strong> and <strong>purchase a plan<\/strong>. Next, you\u2019ll need to make your content <strong>exclusive<\/strong> by protecting it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Set up a rule<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To protect content, you\u2019ll make one or more <a href=\"https:\/\/memberpress.com\/features\/powerful-access-rules\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Rules in MemberPress\">rules in MemberPress<\/a>. This will ensure only those who buy your membership(s) can get their hands on your premium stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First go to <strong>MemberPress<\/strong> > <strong>Rules<\/strong> > <strong>Add New<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, in the dropdown under <em>Protected Content<\/em>, <strong>select one of MemberPress\u2019 many rule types<\/strong>. Wherever your content is on your site, <a href=\"https:\/\/memberpress.com\/docs\/rules-overview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"you can protect it\">you can protect it<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On <em>Legit JavaScript<\/em>, all of my courses have a category applied to them. So, I\u2019ll select <em><strong>Courses with Course Categories<\/strong><\/em>. pre-made DIVI layouts will appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Look through pages within layout packs until you find a footer style you like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, <strong>select the page<\/strong> and choose class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pricing page,<\/strong> listing my two membership options<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Monthly<\/strong> registration page<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Yearly<\/strong> registration page <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The two<strong> registration pages<\/strong> are where people will actually buy the plans. These are generated by MemberPress when you create memberships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, let\u2019s get to styling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Design your membership registration pages<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You already have your memberships made, but now it\u2019s time to spruce up their registration pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to <strong>MemberPress<\/strong> > <strong>Memberships<\/strong>, and then click <strong>View<\/strong> under a membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This will take you to that membership\u2019s registration page, where you can see the default styling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the page does look nice and clean, you\u2019ll want it to match the fancy new look of your other pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fortunately, DIVI lets you style registration pages directly! edit page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the right side of the page, under <em>Divi Page Settings<\/em>, set the <em>Page Layout <\/em>to<strong> No Sidebar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, enable <strong>Use Find one that can be edited to include a form and some basic info.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>And remember<\/strong>, you don\u2019t have to stick with the same layout pack you built the rest of your site with. Then click <strong>Copy Link Address<\/strong> to copy the pricing page URL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll need the URL for the next step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Create a group in MemberPress + link the pricing page<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A <strong>group<\/strong> is a way to link memberships in MemberPress. Members can upgrade or downgrade between them (if you enable it in the settings), and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to <strong>MemberPress<\/strong> > <strong>Groups <\/strong>> <strong>Add New<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Give it a name<\/strong>. In my case, <em>Monthly <\/em>and <em>Yearly.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, locate <strong>Memberships<\/strong> under <em>Group Options<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Select your memberships to be included in this group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, check <strong>Disable Pricing Page<\/strong>. If you don\u2019t see Groups, click <em>Screen Options<\/em> at the top and enable Groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, <strong>select your group<\/strong> and click <strong>Add to Menu<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, drag-and-drop it to the position you want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Expand the item and change the <strong>Navigation label<\/strong> to \u201c<strong>Sign Up<\/strong>.\u201d You could also label it <em>Pricing<\/em>, <em>Memberships<\/em>, or something else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lastly, click <strong>Save Menu<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And there you go, you\u2019ve got a <strong>link to the pricing page<\/strong> on your header.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, everything\u2019s set up to make your first sale!
