Antes da estimativa, foi solicitado que elas tirassem uma bola de pingue-pongue de uma sacola com os olhos fechados. Os participantes foram informados de que cada bola na sacola tinha um n\u00famero entre 1 e 100 escrito, mas, na realidade, havia apenas um n\u00famero escrito em cada uma delas.
