Generating Lessons With MemberPress AI Lesson Assistant

The AI Lesson Assistant generates content for individual MemberPress Course lessons. This feature allows generating entire lesson content or expanding existing content. The AI Lesson Assistant is part of the AI Course Generator which also allows generating courses and Quizze.

This document will show how to generate lesson content for MemberPress Courses using the AI Lesson Assistant.

Voraussetzungen

The AI Lesson Assistant requires the AI Course Generator add-on to be installed and activated. AI credits must also be available on the account.

Accessing the AI Lesson Assistant

The AI Lesson Assistant can be accessed from the Lesson Editor:

1. Navigieren Sie zu Dashboard > MP-Kurse > Lektionen.

2. Klicken Sie auf die Add New Lesson button to add a new lesson. To generate content for an existing lesson, find it in the list. Hover over the lesson name to reveal additional options. Click the bearbeiten link to open the Lesson Editor.
3. Within the Lesson Editor, click the Erzeugen Sie button on the top-right side. This starts the AI Lesson Assistant.

Generating Lesson Content

1. Use the chat field to write the prompt for the lesson content.
2. Klicken Sie auf die Senden Sie button to submit the prompt.

3. Review the generated content.

4. Klicken Sie auf Apply Content to add the content to the lesson.

5. Modify the generated content within the Lesson Editor if needed. Click the Speichern Sie um die Änderungen zu speichern.

The AI can also modify generated content before applying it. Continue chatting with the AI Lesson Assistant to refine the content further.

Tips for Better Lesson Content Generation

The quality of AI-generated lesson content depends on several factors:

• Lesson title: The AI uses the lesson title as context. Descriptive titles produce more relevant content;
• Parent course context: The AI considers the overall course structure and topic when generating content;
• Prompt quality: Detailed prompts produce better results. Include specific topics, target audience, learning objectives, and preferred content structure;
• User expertise: Users with subject matter expertise can provide more specific instructions. This leads to more accurate and tailored content.

For best results, provide clear and detailed prompts. Specify the depth of coverage, examples to include, and any particular teaching approaches to follow.
