Configuration des achats intégrés Android dans l'application MemberPress

Google Play Billing enables membership sales through a compliant Android checkout experience. Furthermore, in-app product configuration requires setting up a Google Payments Profile and creating a product in the Google Play Console. In addition, this document explains how to create payment profiles, configure products, and link them to the MemberPress App.

Creating Google Payments Profile

Payment profile configuration enables revenue collection from Android in-app purchases.

1. Log in to Google Play Console at play.google.com/console.
2. Naviguez jusqu'à Settings > Developer account > Payment settings.
3. Cliquez sur Create Payments Profile.
4. Enter the business location in the location field.
5. Select the account type from the dropdown options.
6. Enter the complete business address in the address fields.
7. Add primary contact information in the contact fields.
8. Complete public business information in the required fields.
9. Cliquez sur Soumettre to create the payment profile.

Payment profile creation enables the configuration of In-App Products and Subscriptions in the Google Play Console.

Creating In-App Products

In-app products provide one-time purchase options for permanent membership access.

1. Naviguez jusqu'à All Apps in Google Play Console.
2. Select the MemberPress App from the app list.
3. Cliquez sur Monetize > Products > In-app products in the sidebar.
4. Cliquez sur Create product to start creating a product.
5. Provide a unique Product ID using reverse domain notation.
6. Saisir un Produit name visible to users in the store.
7. Saisir un Description explaining product benefits and features.
8. Faites défiler jusqu'à la Prix section.
9. Cliquez sur Set price to configure pricing.
10. Enter the default price in the price field.
11. Cliquez sur Apply prices to save the pricing configuration.
12. Cliquez sur Économiser to store product details.
13. Presse Activer to make the product available.

Remarque : Product IDs cannot be changed after creation and must be unique across all app products.

Creating Subscription Products

Subscription products provide recurring billing for ongoing membership access.

1. Naviguez jusqu'à Monetize > Products > Subscriptions in the app sidebar.
2. Cliquez sur Create subscription to start creating the subscription.
3. Enter a unique Product ID using reverse domain notation.
4. Enter a Name visible to users in the store.
5. Faites défiler jusqu'à la Subscription Details section.
6. Ajouter un Nom for internal identification.
7. Saisir un Description explaining subscription benefits.
8. List the Avantages members receive with the subscription.
9. Faites défiler jusqu'à la Base Plans and Offers section.
10. Cliquez sur Add base plan to create a billing plan.
11. Enter a Base plan ID for the billing configuration.
12. Sélectionner Renewal type from available options:
    • Auto-renewing for automatic subscription renewal;
    • Prepaid for pre-purchased subscription periods.
13. Configure Tags for plan categorization.
14. Set Disponibilité for geographic regions.
15. Configure Tarification for the subscription plan.
16. Mark one base plan as Backwards Compatible for legacy support.
17. Cliquez sur Économiser to store the subscription configuration.
18. Cliquez sur Activer to make the subscription available.

At least one base plan must be marked as Backwards Compatible for subscription functionality.

Linking Products to MemberPress App

Products created in Google Play Console must be linked to WordPress for app integration.

1. Naviguez jusqu'à Dashboard > MemberPress App > In-App Purchases > Products.
2. Cliquez sur Ajouter un nouveau to create a new product.
3. Saisir un Nom for product identification.
4. Input an optional Titre d'appel for a brief product description.
5. Saisir un Description explaining product features and benefits.
6. List the Avantages members receive from the product.
7. Vérifier le Display on Products Screen case à cocher.
8. Sélectionner Payé as the Product Type.
9. Faites défiler jusqu'à la Android Store section.
10. Vérifier le Activer case à cocher.
11. Cliquez sur Sync with Google to retrieve available products.
12. Select the corresponding Google Play product from the list.
13. Choose Integration Type:
    • L'adhésion for membership plan integration.
14. Cliquez sur Publier to finalize product creation.
15. Repeat steps 2-14 for all remaining products.

Product synchronization connects Google Play products to WordPress membership plans for access control.

Testing Android In-App Purchases

In-app purchase testing verifies transaction processing and membership access before public release.

Testing with Test App Builds

1. Installer le Test App build on an Android device.
2. Open the app and log in with a test account.
3. Naviguez jusqu'à la page Products Screen within the app.
4. Tap a product to initiate the purchase flow.
5. Complete the simulated purchase without actual payment.
6. Verify membership access unlocks correctly after purchase.
7. Naviguez jusqu'à Dashboard > MemberPress App > In-App Purchases > Transactions.
8. Locate the test transaction in the transactions list.
9. Verify transaction details display correctly.
10. Cliquez sur Revoke next to test transactions to remove test purchases.

Test App builds simulate purchases without processing real payments or connecting to Google Play Billing.
