A Google Play Developer account enables Android app publication on the Google Play Store. Account creation requires account type selection, identity verification, payment profile linking, and one-time registration fee payment. This document explains how to create both personal and organizational Google Play Developer accounts for MemberPress App distribution.

Personal accounts use individual developer information for app publication. Personal accounts display the developer name publicly on Google Play listings. Personal accounts are suitable for developers without registered business entities.
Organization accounts require official business details and documentation. Organization accounts enable team member additions for collaborative app management. Organization accounts publish apps under company names and allow multiple users.
