Gestión de las plantillas de temas de ReadyLaunch™

The ReadyLaunch™ theme includes pre-made page and post templates and template parts. These elements provide reusable layouts for your website. In addition, the MemberPress plugin provides FSE templates for your membership pages.

This document covers the basics of using ReadyLaunch™ templates and template parts to build your website.

Nota: The ReadyLaunch™ theme is available with the MemberPress Launch, Growth, and Scale plans. An active MemberPress license is required to download and use the theme.

Plantillas ReadyLaunch

ReadyLaunch™ templates are pre-designed post and page layouts. These layouts set the page or post design around your content, without affecting or adding any content.

When you apply a template, the page or post layout changes automatically. Templates you can apply to pages and posts:

  • Page No Title: a page layout without the page title;
  • Page with Sidebar: a page layout with a sidebar area;
  • Full Width Page: a layout stretching content to the full screen width;
  • Flexible Full Width Page: a full-width layout with flexible content areas;
  • Legal Page: a layout suited to legal pages, such as a privacy policy;
  • Blank Square with Header and Footer: a minimal layout with a centered content area;
  • Puesto único: a layout for individual blog posts;
  • Single with Sidebar: a post layout with a sidebar area.

The theme also styles the templates WordPress applies automatically by content type:

  • Blog Home: displays your latest posts;
  • All Archives: displays category, tag, author, and date archives;
  • Search Results: displays results when a visitor searches your site;
  • Page: 404: displays when a visitor opens a missing page;
  • Páginas: the default layout for static pages;
  • Single Posts: the default layout for individual posts;
  • Index: the fallback layout when no specific template applies.

Besides full-page templates and template parts, ReadyLaunch™ includes reusable, pre-designed content sections. These sections consist of Gutenberg blocks (ReadyLaunch™ patterns).

MemberPress Membership Page Templates

The FSE templates for your membership pages ship with the MemberPress plugin, not the theme. When the plugin is active, these templates cover your key membership pages:

  • Cuenta;
  • Inicio de sesión;
  • Precios (groups);
  • Registration and checkout (memberships);
  • Gracias.

The ReadyLaunch™ theme styles these templates automatically. They adopt the colors and typography you set for the theme.

Template Parts

Template parts are reusable groups of blocks integrated into multiple ReadyLaunch™ templates.

You can edit templates individually in the WordPress editor. However, template parts work differently because all templates share them. When you edit a template part, the changes apply to all instances of that part.

You can edit template parts directly or through any template containing them. The changes automatically reflect across all templates using that specific template part.

The ReadyLaunch™ theme contains the following template parts:

  • Cabecera: the header area added to all templates;
  • Header Navigation: the primary menu within the header;
  • Pie de página: the footer area added to all templates;
  • Barra lateral: the widget area used by the sidebar templates.

Managing ReadyLaunch™ Templates

You can manage the ReadyLaunch™ templates through your website's Site Editor:

  1. Vaya a Panel > Apariencia > Editor to access the Site Editor.
  2. A continuación, haga clic en el botón Plantillas menu option. This opens the Templates page.
  3. Haga clic en el botón ReadyLaunch™ option in the right-side menu to filter the theme templates.

Here, you can browse and search the list of all available ReadyLaunch™ templates. You can also edit them or add your custom templates.

Editing Templates

ReadyLaunch™ templates consist of Gutenberg blocks. You can edit templates using the template editor:

  1. Navegue hasta el Plantillas page within the Site Editor.
  2. Find the template you wish to edit, and click it to start the template editor. Alternatively, click the Icono de 3 puntos on the template and then the Editar opción.
  3. Add, rearrange, modify, or delete blocks as you would on any other page or post. You can also adjust the block settings of any block within the template.
  1. After you apply all modifications, click Actualización para guardar los cambios.

Applying Templates to Posts and Pages

You can choose which template to use for each page or post. For example, follow these steps to change the template used for a specific page:

  1. Start editing the page with the default (Gutenberg) editor.
  2. In the side panel, click the Página tab to open the page attributes panel.
  3. Junto al Plantilla attribute, click on the name of the currently used template.
  4. In the menu, choose the Change Template option, and select the new template.
  1. Guarde los cambios haciendo clic en el botón Actualización (o Publique) button.

You can update any page or post in a similar manner.

Bulk Application to Multiple Pages or Posts

Furthermore, you can apply a template to multiple pages or posts. For example, do the following to apply a template to multiple pages:

  1. Vaya a Panel > Páginas.
  2. Select the pages to update.
  3. En el Bulk actions seleccione Editar y haga clic en el botón Solicitar botón.
  1. In the Quick Edit panel, under the Plantilla dropdown, choose the template you wish to apply to these pages.
  1. Haga clic en el botón Actualización botón.

WordPress applies the template to all the pages you selected. The same process applies to posts.

Resumen

ReadyLaunch™ templates control the layout and design of your pages and posts without changing your content. Template parts, such as the header and footer, apply shared elements across all templates. The MemberPress plugin adds the FSE templates for your membership pages, styled by the theme.

To continue building your website, review the available ReadyLaunch™ blocks and patterns. If you skipped the basics, start with the ReadyLaunch™ theme setup.
