MemberPress can turn its default pages into WordPress block templates. These are known as Full Site Editing (FSE) templates. This way, you can edit your registration, thank you, account, login, and pricing pages in the WordPress Site Editor.
This document explains how to enable the FSE mode and apply templates to your membership pages. It also covers editing templates in the Site Editor and reverting to the default ReadyLaunch™ mode.
What Are the MemberPress FSE Templates?
ReadyLaunch™ is the MemberPress template system for the MemberPress reserved pages (e.g. registration, account, and login pages). By default, ReadyLaunch™ templates use pre-made layouts you manage from the MemberPress settings. Editing them with Gutenberg blocks in the WordPress block editor requires the FSE mode.
When you enable the FSE mode, MemberPress turns these pages into native WordPress block templates. You can then open each template in the Rédacteur du site and edit it with blocks. The FSE templates work only with the reserved pages et le registration and pricing pages.
With the FSE mode enabled, you can:
- Edit the MemberPress default pages without custom code;
- Add, remove, move, and style any block within each template;
- Edit the shared header and footer applied to these pages;
- Keep all MemberPress features within the new templates.
You choose which pages the FSE templates control. You can also go back to the default ReadyLaunch™ mode at any time.
Exigences
The FSE mode requires the following:
- WordPress 6.7 or higher. The FSE mode uses the WordPress block template registration API, added in this version;
- An active block theme (a Full Site Editing theme). Examples include the ReadyLaunch™ theme and the default WordPress themes (e.g. Twenty Twenty-Five);
- The MemberPress plugin installed and activated.
Enabling the FSE Mode
The FSE mode is disabled by default. Enabling it does not change your website automatically. Follow these steps to enable it:
- Naviguez jusqu'à Tableau de bord > MemberPress > Paramètreset cliquez sur le bouton ReadyLaunch™ tabulation.
- When your theme supports Full Site Editing, a notice shows at the top of the tab. The notice reads: “Your theme supports Full Site Editing. Enable FSE mode to use MemberPress block templates for your membership pages.” Cliquez sur le bouton Enable FSE Mode button within the notice.

- A dialog explains that FSE templates will apply to your MemberPress pages. Click OK to confirm.
- Les ReadyLaunch™ tab now shows the “ReadyLaunch™ FSE Templates” table instead of the default ReadyLaunch™ design settings.

Any default ReadyLaunch™ templates you already use stay applied. MemberPress converts them to FSE templates and keeps your settings. Your default ReadyLaunch™ design settings (e.g. brand colors and welcome images) carry over as the starting values.
Managing the FSE Templates
With the FSE mode enabled, the ReadyLaunch™ tab lists one row per page template. The core templates cover your registration, thank you, account, login, and pricing pages.
Each row shows the template name on the left and the available actions on the right:
- Apply Template: shows when the template is not active. Click it to apply the template to the related pages;
- Retirer: shows when the template is applied. Click it to detach the template from the related pages;
- Edit Template: opens the template in the Site Editor. This action is available for every template.
A template applies to all related pages at once. For example, the registration template affects all your membership pages. To apply a template:
- Find the template row, and click the Apply Template bouton.
- Confirm the action in the browser popup.
- The row updates, and the Retirer link replaces the button.
- Repeat this for each page you want the FSE templates to control.
- Cliquez sur le bouton Options de mise à jour pour enregistrer vos paramètres.
Editing Templates in the Site Editor
Each applied template opens in the WordPress Site Editor. Here, you can edit it like any block-based content:
- Naviguez jusqu'à Tableau de bord > MemberPress > Paramètreset cliquez sur le bouton ReadyLaunch™ tabulation.
- On the template row, click the Edit Template link. The template opens in the Site Editor in a new browser tab.
- Ouvrir le List View to see the template structure. Each template has the shared header, the page content, and the shared footer.
- Click any block to edit it. You can change text, colors, and layout, or add and remove blocks.
- Cliquez sur Économiser to publish your changes.
The changes apply to all pages using that template. Your visitors see the new design right away.
Editing the Shared Header and Footer
The header and footer are shared template parts. All MemberPress FSE templates use the same header and footer. When you edit one of these parts, the change applies everywhere.
You can edit the header or footer in two ways:
- Within any open template, click the header or footer area, and click Edit Original.
- Alternatively, navigate to Tableau de bord > Apparence > Éditeur, cliquez Modèles, and open the header or footer part.
Here, you can add blocks, move things around, and change the colors. Click Économiser to apply the changes across all templates.
Template Options
Each template has its own blocks and settings. For example:
- Les compte template has the account menu and the account content areas. You can set the menu layout (vertical or horizontal), the menu colors, and a welcome image;
- Les merci template has two sections: one for successful and one for failed payments. You can edit the content your customers see in each case;
- Les enregistrement template finds the membership a visitor views. The registration block loads the right membership on its own.
Click any block within a template to see its settings and styles in the right-side panel.
Add-on Templates
Some MemberPress add-ons add their own FSE templates. When such an add-on is active, its templates show as new rows in the table. You can apply, remove, and edit them like the core templates.
These add-ons come with FSE templates:
- Cours sur MemberPress: adds the courses template and the courses header;
- MemberPress CoachKit™: adds the coaching template;
- MemberPress ClubCircles™: adds the circles template.
The docs for each add-on cover the details of these templates.
Reverting to the Default ReadyLaunch™ Mode
You can switch back to the default ReadyLaunch™ mode at any time:
- Naviguez jusqu'à Tableau de bord > MemberPress > Paramètreset cliquez sur le bouton ReadyLaunch™ tabulation.
- Cliquez sur le bouton Revert to ReadyLaunch™ Classic mode link at the bottom of the “ReadyLaunch™ FSE Templates” table.

The tab shows the default ReadyLaunch™ design settings again. Your pages use the default ReadyLaunch™ templates once more. The FSE notice also returns, allowing you to enable the FSE mode again at any time.
Résumé
The MemberPress FSE mode turns your membership pages into WordPress block templates. You enable the mode once, apply the templates you need, and edit everything in the Site Editor. The shared header and footer keep your pages in the same style.
To learn about the default ReadyLaunch™ templates, see the ReadyLaunch™ overview. If you need a block theme, you can use the ReadyLaunch™ theme. To build custom pages, review the available MemberPress Gutenberg blocks.
