Premiers pas avec le thème ReadyLaunch™

ReadyLaunch™ is a WordPress theme included with MemberPress plans. The theme provides the visual layer for MemberPress membership sites. It includes pre-built templates, patterns, preset styles, and customization options.

This guide explains the core ReadyLaunch™ theme features and setup requirements. It also covers the basic customization steps for building your website.

Remarque : The ReadyLaunch™ theme is available with the MemberPress Launch, Growth, and Scale plans. An active MemberPress license is required to download and use the theme.

What Is the ReadyLaunch™ Theme?

A WordPress theme controls your website's appearance and functionality. It contains a collection of files with your website's design and features. Every WordPress site requires an active theme to display content to visitors.

Themes provide:

  • Visual Design: colors, fonts, and layouts;
  • Page Structure: headers, footers, and content areas;
  • Responsive Display: mobile and desktop compatibility;
  • Extra Features: functions beyond the WordPress basics.

Most WordPress themes are generic. They do not account for membership pages like account, pricing, and checkout pages. The ReadyLaunch™ theme is designed to style these MemberPress pages automatically.

Introducing ReadyLaunch™

ReadyLaunch™ is a Full Site Editing (FSE) theme for WordPress. FSE allows you to visually edit every part of your website. You edit all parts using blocks in the default (Gutenberg) editor.

With the ReadyLaunch™ FSE theme, you can:

  • Apply one of the six preset styles to your entire website, or customize your own;
  • Choose one of the six typography presets (font combinations);
  • Edit headers and footers visually;
  • Import and edit des modèles et schémas préétablis;
  • Create custom page templates;
  • Design pages and posts with blocs à glisser-déposer;
  • Avant-première changes before publishing;
  • Automatically style the ReadyLaunch™ blocks from the MemberPress plugin.

ReadyLaunch™ Theme and MemberPress

The ReadyLaunch™ theme works as a standalone WordPress theme. However, it is designed to pair with the MemberPress plugin.

The MemberPress plugin provides FSE templates for your key membership pages:

  • Compte;
  • Connexion;
  • Tarification (groups);
  • Registration and checkout (memberships);
  • Merci de votre attention.

The plugin also provides membership blocks, such as the Connexion, Compte, Inscriptionet Tableau des prix blocks. The ReadyLaunch™ theme styles these templates and blocks automatically. They adopt the colors and typography you set for the theme.

Important : The ReadyLaunch™ theme is a separate product from the ReadyLaunch™ templates in the MemberPress plugin. The Modèles ReadyLaunch™ design MemberPress pages only. The ReadyLaunch™ theme controls the design of your entire website.

ReadyLaunch™ Theme Requirements

The ReadyLaunch™ theme is included with your MemberPress plan. After you set up your WordPress website, install and activate the ReadyLaunch™ theme. Then, add your content.

Before you start, prepare the basics:

  • Prepare your brand colors (e.g. the HEX code of each color).

In addition, the following preparations are advisable when activating the theme on a website with existing content:

  • Back up your current website;
  • Deactivate unnecessary plugins;

Finally, ensure your website meets these requirements:

Adding Your Content

After your website styling is in place, you can start adding content. You add content by creating pages and posts.

Pages hold your main content, which is often static and timeless (rarely updated). Examples include your home page, pricing page, and login page.

Postes hold timely, regularly updated content. Examples of posts include news, articles, updates, and blog entries.

To add pages, navigate to Tableau de bord > Pages > Ajouter une page. Similarly, to add posts, navigate to Dashboard > Posts > Add Post. In both cases, this opens the default (Gutenberg) editor. Here, you can add blocks of content (e.g. headings, paragraphs, images) and style them.

You can design your posts and pages with any Gutenberg blocks. Furthermore, you can use ReadyLaunch™ patterns to build feature lists, testimonials, call-to-action sections, and hero banners.

ReadyLaunch™ Theme Patterns

When you add a new page, WordPress automatically presents the available ReadyLaunch™ starter content patterns. Patterns are pre-designed groups of blocks, allowing you to import entire designs with one click.

Furthermore, while editing a page or a post, you can preview and add multiple patterns. Patterns are available at Block inserter > Patterns. A separate document covers the ReadyLaunch™ blocks and patterns.

ReadyLaunch™ Theme Templates

The ReadyLaunch™ theme comes with pre-built layouts for pages and posts, known as modèles. For example, templates allow one page design to include a sidebar and another to exclude it.

In addition, the MemberPress plugin provides the FSE templates for your membership pages. These include the account, login, pricing, registration, and thank you pages. The theme styles these templates automatically.

Vous pouvez change the template for any page or post within the Post editor. This applies a different layout without affecting the content of the page or post.

Prochaines étapes

With the basics covered, populate your website with the necessary pages. These pages provide information about your website and business. Depending on your website's purpose, you can also add posts to share information with visitors and encourage engagement.

Next, set up your membership structure. You can créer des adhésions et protéger votre contenu with MemberPress rules.
