Configuring Your MemberPress iOS and Android App Homepage

The App Homepage is the first screen members see after logging in to the MemberPress iOS and Android. A well-configured homepage improves navigation, reinforces branding, and highlights key actions for learners. Using Gutenberg blocks, you can design a fully customized homepage and surface it directly in the Tab Bar for immediate access.

This guide walks you through creating an App Homepage, adding blocks, assigning the page to the Tab Bar, and previewing the Homepage within the mobile app.

Understanding the App Homepage Feature

The App Homepage feature allows administrators to create a dedicated landing experience tailored for mobile users.

Custom page creation enables full control over layout and content using familiar Gutenberg blocks. Flexible design allows you to highlight courses, links, and activity.

Improved navigation places essential actions within reach through Quick Links and Tab Bar integration. Streamlined access reduces friction for learners.

Brand consistency ensures your app reflects your site identity using icons, structure, and curated content. Visual consistency improves trust and engagement.

Member engagement increases when learners immediately see relevant content, such as links, activities, or resources, upon login.

Accessing the App Pages Screen

App Pages serve as the foundation for custom screens within the MemberPress App.

  1. In your WordPress Dashboard, go to MP AppKit > App Pages.
  2. Click Add New App Page to begin creating a new page.

  4. To add additional links, click the block’s + icon within the Quick Link block.
  5. Under Icon Settings, choose an icon (for example, Facebook) and click Select Icon.

Repeat this process to add Members, Activity, or other supported blocks as needed.

Assigning the Homepage to the Tab Bar

Tab Bar integration makes your Homepage easily accessible from anywhere in the mobile app.

  1. Go to MP AppKit > Menus > Tab Bar Menu.
  2. Click App Page, then scroll or click View All to locate your new Home page.
  3. Select Home and click Add to Menu.
