But what about those days when you need a break? What about the times when you're sick and still try to work? What about you?

Don't Try To Do Everything Yourself
One of the biggest issues the owner of a membership business or any kind of business has is figuring out how to let go of certain tasks. Whether it be due to the lack of finances ro do so or the worry that tasks won't be taken care of properly, it's easy to want to just buckle down and handle everything yourself; However, that isn't always healthy or the best thing for your business. Try to allow yourself permission to hand a certain task or tasks – email marketing, social media management, blog posts, etc. – to someone else every so often. Your sanity will thank you for it!
Don't Jump on Every Idea So Quickly
As a business owner, you're constantly fueled by ideas on how to grow your business. This is great, but don't jump on so many ideas that you cannot properly execute them. Take time to examine your ideas and consider if they are feasible for you at the moment. If they are, then don't be afraid to plan them out so you can properly execute them. If you aren't in a position to work on your ideas immediately, don't give up on them! Keep them recorded and feel free to revisit your ideas at a later date!
Give Yourself Permission To Relax
It's great that you are disciplined and determined to make your business successful. What you should not do is forget to make time for yourself to relax and unwind. Whether that be reading a book, watching your favorite television show, or playing a game with your family, give yourself permission to carve out time in your day for relaxation. It will help you clear your mind and be refreshed for work at a later time!
Learn Your Triggers
Although you love being a business owner, there can be times when love doesn't feel like enough. Find those specific tasks you loathe, or how you typically respond during a bad day and find ways to combat them. Doing this early will help you prepare for the hard times and know how to handle them when they arise!
Use The Word No
A beautiful part of having your own business is being able to decide what you will and will not do. If you are offered a project that triggers your stress and is too much to take on, you can refuse. If you are approached by a customer that you had a bad experience with in the past, it is okay to decline their offer. You have the freedom to take on what is best for you and your business. You do not have to be a “Yes Man!”
Look Back On Your Why
Another great way to prevent burnout in your business is by remembering why you started. It can be easy to get so bogged down in all of the hustle and bustle of the business that you forget what made you want to start the business in the first place. So every months or couple months take some time to look back on some of your past successes and think on your original plans for the business. Taking time to look back will keep you focused on the mission of your business and keep you motivated to create even more successful moments to look back on!
