When you create your membership site, one of the most important pages you will create is your member registration or subscription page.
Your registration page is where your members will go to become a part of your membership officially, so this page must be put together well.
In this post, we will share with you a few essential things you should include in your membership registration page.
Membership Pricing and/or Tiers
Before anything else, be sure to include the price(s) of your membership and if you have any membership tiers. Also include if the membership fee is monthly, annually, quarterly, etc.
Ensure that your pricing is stated clearly on your website page, so there are no questions about the pricing of your membership.

Another important aspect of your registration page is a way to pay for your membership. If there is no clear way to pay for your membership, then you are hurting your conversion rates severely.
Also, do not limit how your potential members can join. Offer as many payment options as you can on your membership site, including credit/debit, PayPal, Stripe, etc. The more, the better.

It is also a good idea to include the value of your membership on your registration page! Remind your customers of what they are getting when they join your online business. Try to list all (or at least most of) your membership benefits so your customers can feel more confident about continuing their purchase.

Customer Reviews (If You Have Them)
Do you have any reviews from customers that you can share? Implement these reviews on your member registration page! Just like the value of the membership, customer reviews will show customers that people enjoy your product and that it is a worthy purchase. Several excellent WordPress membership plugins will help you to add customer reviews to your membership site.

Last but not least, your membership site needs to have a registration form for users to fill out! Depending on the type of membership site you have, there are essential pieces of information that your business needs to have to help serve your customers better.
The basic items you should have in your registration form are:
- Contact Information (name, email, etc.)
- Membership or Subscription Tier and Term (if you have membership tiers and how long they are signing up to be members. This can vary, based on your membership site)
- How They Found You (this is a great way to see how customers are learning about your business)
Depending on your membership site and what you are selling, the additional items you include in your form may vary. Also, remember to keep your form as simple as possible. You never want to have an overly-complicated form, or else you could quickly turn potential customers off.
Your member registration page is easily one of the most critical pages on your membership website, so do not skimp on the work you put into this page. Keep our tips in mind, and you will be sure to see your membership numbers grow!
