Setting Up Apple Developer Account for MemberPress App

Apple Developer Program enrollment enables iOS app release on the App Store and TestFlight beta distribution management. This document explains how to create an Apple ID, complete program enrollment, choose an account type, submit organization details, accept licensing agreements, and access App Store Connect.

Understanding Apple Developer Program

Apple Developer Program requirements define necessary configurations for iOS app distribution and beta testing capabilities through Apple's official channels.

Program membership access provides app distribution tools and services for App Store publication. Membership costs $99 annually for most individual and organization accounts.

Account type selection determines app publisher name and team collaboration capabilities. Individual accounts publish under personal names while organization accounts publish under company names.

D-U-N-S Number requirement applies to organization enrollments requiring legal entity verification. Organization accounts must complete Dun & Bradstreet verification before enrollment approval.

Team member support enables collaboration through organization accounts only. Individual accounts do not support adding team members for app management.

App Store Connect access provides complete app lifecycle management from development through publication. Dashboard features enable app submission, TestFlight distribution, and sales reporting.
