Today’s a great day for all kinds of reasons. But this time I’ve got a favorite…
I get to announce that MemberMouse has joined the Caseproof family of products!
Not only that. MemberMouse – like all Caseproof products – is also now part of the WPBeginner Growth Accelerator, led by Syed Balkhi.
This legendary enterprise-grade membership plugin is now right alongside Caseproof’s flagship product MemberPress. Landing squarely in the heart of the WordPress community and happily in the hands of its most innovative partners.
I couldn’t be more excited to be part of the new, combined team set and ready to help MemberMouse make history.
Why MemberMouse?
I get this question a lot these days: Why would the creator of MemberPress want to run MemberMouse?
Well first, I want to set the record straight. I’m not combining MemberMouse and MemberPress.
Instead, I plan to grow both products in ways that leverage the unique contributions each one brings to membership site businesses.
The impetus behind the acquisition
That being said, there are all kinds of reasons I’m thrilled to be the new owner of MemberMouse. The first most obvious is that I know a great product when I see one.
The second most obvious reason?
I've inherited an absolutely phenomenal team. Passion, brains, grit – they've got it all, and it runs the whole gamut.

One of my favorite aspects to this whole thing is the distinctiveness of the two products and their two teams.
MemberPress and MemberMouse serve different groups and are certainly distinct products. But the teams and their products are equally amazing.
From the beginning, then, it was easy to see they were destined to make each other stronger and better.
So just put it all together, and you'll see how it was a no-brainer for me.
MemberMouse would be an awesome addition to the Caseproof roadmap and a killer shotgun passenger on our journey toward creating amazing opportunities for digital entrepreneurs.

Here’s the thing. Caseproof’s goal as a team is to offer the best revenue-generating tools for WordPress. Broadening our scope and exploring the space is one of the ways we’re forging ahead to meet that goal.

Carrying the torch
MemberMouse is the brainchild of entrepreneur and developer Eric Turnnessen. He built the plugin back in 2009 and went on to evolve it based on a legacy of constant growth and refinement.
It’s our goal to optimize and expand Eric's legacy. And we’ve got the passion to pull it off.
The Caseproof team is dedicated to pushing that heritage into the future so we can serve MemberMouse creators existing today. And also so we can find and support all the new creators headed our way.
