Enabling Send Us Feedback in MemberPress App

Collecting feedback from your app users helps you identify issues, improve the experience, and support your community more effectively. The Send Us Feedback feature in the MemberPress App allows users to submit comments, media attachments, and device details directly to your inbox. This guide walks you through enabling the feature and explains how users can submit feedback within the app.

Understanding the Send Us Feedback Feature

The Send Us Feedback feature requirements define configurations for enabling member-submitted feedback collection and delivery to administrators.

Feedback collection enablement activates an in-app feedback submission interface, providing members with a direct communication channel. The feedback feature transforms members into active contributors, improving app quality.

Email delivery configuration directs submitted feedback to the designated recipient address for review and response. Proper email setup ensures feedback reaches responsible administrators promptly.

Media attachment support allows members to include images or videos illustrating issues or suggestions. Visual feedback provides context, improving issue understanding and resolution.

Device information inclusion automatically appends technical details to feedback submissions, aiding troubleshooting. Platform, version, and device data help diagnose reported problems efficiently.

Custom subject configuration enables feedback email organization and filtering in the recipient's inbox. Subject customization improves feedback management and prioritization workflows.

Configuring Feedback Settings

Feedback settings configuration establishes email delivery and feature enablement for member feedback submissions.

  1. In WordPress, go to Dashboard > MP App > Settings > Feedback.
  2. Check Send Us Feedback to enable the feature.
  1. In the Feedback Email, enter the address where feedback should be sent.
  1. Optionally add a custom Email Subject for incoming feedback messages.
  2. Click Save Changes.

Note: If the Feedback Email is left blank, it defaults to the Administration Email under Settings > General.

Submitting Feedback from the Mobile App

Feedback submission occurs through mobile application settings, providing direct member communication with administrators.

  1. Open the MemberPress App on your mobile device.
  2. Go to Settings from the More menu.
  3. Tap Send Us Feedback.
  4. Enter your message in the feedback box.
  5. Optionally tap Upload Image or Video to attach media.
  6. Tap Send to submit the feedback.

Submitted emails will include:

  • Feedback message
  • User's Apple ID or Google account
  • Platform (iOS/Android)
  • App and OS version
  • Device model
  • User's email address
