When your subscription ends, your MemberPress license expires and is no longer active. MemberPress' full functionality is only available with an active subscription and license.
When your license expires, the following will happen:
Immediately on the day of expiration:
- You enter a grace period where MemberPress will still operate as usual. We'll notify you via plugin notices and an admin notice that your license has expired.
- You’ll no longer have access to support if you encounter issues with MemberPress.
- You won’t be able to download MemberPress from our website.
- You’ll no longer receive updates to the MemberPress plugin, including security updates.
- You won’t be able to activate your license on any new sites, and the activations on your current sites will expire.
- You’ll no longer be able to download any MemberPress add-ons.
After the grace period ends:
- You won’t have access to any of the MemberPress admin screens. Read more: MemberPress Backend Deactivated
Essentially, you can continue to use MemberPress on the front end of your site indefinitely when your subscription ends. However, you won’t be able to access the plugin’s admin screens or functions. Unless you renew, we’ll also no longer be able to support any changes or additions to your site.
