Today I’m proud to announce that WishList Products has joined Caseproof! This means the powerful membership plugin WishList Member™ and LMS plugin CourseCure are now part of our growing family of products.
If you’ve been paying attention, you know we acquired the amazing enterprise-grade plugin MemberMouse in February.
As with MemberMouse – and like all Caseproof products – WishList Products is now part of the WPBeginner Growth Accelerator, led by my good friend and investor, Syed Balkhi.
This is a big deal. WishList Member™ is THE ORIGINAL membership plugin… truly ahead of its time. And it’s now in great company alongside Caseproof’s flagship product MemberPress and sister product MemberMouse.
I couldn’t be more excited to be part of the new, combined team set and ready to help WishList Member™ make history… again!
To be 100% clear, as with MemberMouse and MemberPress, our goal is not to discontinue WishList, or to combine it with another membership plugin.
One thing we will do, though, is fold the powerful LMS plugin CourseCure into WishList Member™, making it a full-featured and robust monetization solution later this year.
Our goal is to serve the amazing WishList customer base and grow the platform alongside our other products.
Why I bought WishList Member™
Here’s the thing. WishList Member™ was a pioneer. It was the first membership plugin I ever used, and it really inspired me to get more involved with WordPress.
It showed me that a plugin could be a powerful catalyst, capable of transforming WordPress into a highly sophisticated membership platform.
Ever since then (and all the while growing my own membership plugin, MemberPress), I’ve had a soft spot for WishList Member™ – and its founders.
It has that certain “something”
The way I see it, business is an art. And companies and products are works of art.
Go ahead. Call me melodramatic, but if you’re an entrepreneur, you get exactly what I’m saying.
Like a great work of art, a product created and maintained by a team who has genuine affection for it is going to be vastly superior.
Add to the mix a real affection among the team for one another, and you’ve got a real game-changer on your hands.
There’s just something about it.
And I know that “something” is real because I’ve watched our team grow and evolve MemberPress into the most widely used WordPress membership and monetization plugin in the world over the past 10 years.
So when the opportunity to buy WishList came up, I was initially interested because (1) I knew the plugin, and (2) I’ve had a long-time friendship with its co-creator, Tracy Childers.

That was The Moment. That’s when I was ready to sign on the line. Zero reservations.

As a trigger-based gamification system, WishList Member™ is the only WordPress membership plugin that includes a full system of Points and Badges for site gamification.
The interface’s modules let you set up trigger events for users to complete, such as joining a membership, leaving a comment, or completing a course. Once the user completes a trigger action, they can be awarded a badge or a specified number of points.

I am confused. Was WishList acquired by Memberium last year? I remember receiving a mail from them (I am a memberium customer). I can’t the article for the life in me but here’s a link mentioning the acquisition – https://poststatus.com/acquisitions/. Am I missing something?
Hi Carlos, WishList was purchased by Memberium, but that acquisition was reversed.
Why isn’t Wishlist integrated with AffiliateWP, one of the leading affiliate plugins?
I understand that it’s integrated with Easy Affiliate, but most of the other membership plugins are integrated with AffiliateWP.
Would be great to see this implemented.
