Recurring 10% lifetime discount coupon:

Selecting “standard” will create either a recurring discount on recurring memberships, or a lifetime discount for one-time payment memberships.
You can choose whether you want your discount to be a percentage, or a set amount off.
$50 off the first payment coupon:

Run a launch promo or celebrate a milestone by giving new members $50 off their first payment.
Make sure you set the Discount amount to 0% off if you just want the discount to apply to the first payment.
But if you want to, you could create a special deal like $50 off your first payment and 10% off all subsequent recurring payments. That's how specific you can get!
Extended 30-day free trial period coupon:

Entice fence-sitters with an extended free trial. Instead of your standard 7 days, hand them 30 days to explore, and let the value of your membership do the selling.
The “Trial Period Override” option lets you create coupon for a limited free trial or extended trial period.
If you have created a free trial option in your membership settings, this coupon will override it. Say you offer a 7-day free trial as standard – the example coupon above will override it with an extended free trial period!

In this example, the coupon sets the first three months at $30, then automatically switches back to the standard membership pricing.
2 week trial period and 25% off recurring:

The one about putting a coupon code in the sign-up abandon reminder email is something I am looking at.
What would be really great is if MemberPress could automatically create a personal coupon code that expires in 48 hours, and insert that into the abandonment email.

I would like to set up a coupon for a membership again, but I had it previously and deleted it long ago. When I try to set it up, It adds a -1 behind it. I know there is a way to purge the old coupons, but I cannot find anything online. Thanks.
Glenn, it’s probably in the (trash) section. You can un-trash the old coupon and edit it – or rename it and trash it again – so you can create the new.
So i want to create that a membership website which grants new user 10 free meal codes on 10 different restaurants (1 restaurant 1 single use code) but with the following user flow:
1. User registered and granted the 10 free meal codes
2. When accessed the coupon pages user is shown 10 buttons (restaurant logos) and when the user clicks on the button user is prompted on checkout with the specific coupon codes applied
3. Once user finished the checkout, the coupon codes got redeemed and are unable to be used anymore.
